The Vortex Viper® HD 11-33x50 Spotting Scope Angled is designed for portability. Whether hiking the Ruby Mountains in Nevada to see a Himalayan Snowcock, walking the sands on a beach for shorebirds, or on a back country hunt, this scope will ease your burden. The Vortex Viper 50mm spotting scopes weigh less than 28 ounces, about the same as high quality 42mm binocular. They feature Vortex's HD Optical System with glass elements optimized to reduce chromatic aberration and deliver excellent color fidelity and edge-to-edge sharpness, which the dual focus knob enables dialing in. All lenses and prisms are fully multi-coated with Vortex XR Plus coatings. External lenses have Armortek® scratch, oil, and water repellent coatings. The body is waterproof and Argon purged. Rubber armor protects the surface of the chassis and improves shockproof capability. The scope comes with its eyepiece that can be detached for packability. Also in the box are a neoprene case, lens covers, and a lens cloth.
